Trusted Vendors

It takes a team of professionals that are dedicated to their clients to ensure that a real estate transaction flows smoothly from start to finish.  We are proud to work with the best of the best in the industry when it comes to Lenders, Inspectors, Insurance Agents, Attorneys, Accountants, Stagers, and the list goes on.

Lenders

A mortgage is an integral part of the puzzle when purchasing a home and having someone who is quick to respond, knowledgable on your options, and can offer you the best terms for your needs is important.  Each of our preferred vendors can "shop" for a loan on your behalf with multiple banks to ensure that you can compare options before moving forward.

Senior Loan Officer

A life-long North Carolinian, I have lived in Raleigh since 1982. I graduated from North Carolina State University in 1990 with a Master’s Degree in Chemistry. I worked eight years in Research Triangle Park for Becton Dickinson. In 1998, I decided to leave research and pursue a career in home lending. I began my lending career with First Financial Services as a loan officer and quickly became a top producing loan officer.

In 2004 I joined Corporate Investors Mortgage Group. Through my affiliation with CIMG, Inc., Woodard Mortgage Group offers state of the art procedures at every step on the lending process. Our team is 100% focused on our customers and their needs – and we are not just saying that. We are truly humbled by the fact that our clients place their trust and real estate financial futures in our hands – every day.

Closing Attorneys

A closing attorney is a vital piece of the puzzle when purchasing a home.  They perform the Title Search to ensure that you will have a clean title when closing on the home. They also order a survey on your behalf if that is something you opt in to have performed. Having a thorough and detail oriented attorney who is passionate about their job is extremely important.

These are our go-to attorneys in the industry.

CONVENIENCE

No scheduling battles just to get a wet signature. No clunky fax machines. No print-sign-scan-email charades. As much as we can, we take the entire closing process to the virtual realm, so you can expect lots of quick e-signatures, seamless Zoom closings, and snappy text exchanges. (But if you’re old school, don’t worry: we’ve got you covered, and we can send you home with all the paper and wet signatures you could possibly want.) And if you can’t make it to our office for the closing? No problem. We offer mobile closings, so we will come to you if you’re in a scheduling pinch.

DATA SECURITY

Rest assured that your highly sensitive information will be kept safe, 100% of the time. We comply with ALTA’s best practices, meaning that all data sent via email is bank-level security encrypted (in accordance with federal law).

The best part? We cover all data encryption costs. That’s right: you don’t have to shell out just to ensure your information will be protected. We use only the best products – and we won’t upcharge you for them.

CLEAR EXPECTATION

If you’ve ever been through a closing before, you probably already know the process can be fraught with surprises – and not someone-in-the-Starbucks-drive-thru-paid-for-your-latte surprises. I mean surprises to the tune of unanticipated fees, scheduling nightmares, and closing delays. More like, someone’s-kid-pooped-in-the-pool surprises. And with something as serious as a real estate transaction with property and cash at stake, this is just not okay. Real estate law is all about expecting the unexpected. Read: things can go sideways FAST. That’s why you need an attorney who will prepare you for every possible contingency.

From the moment you first engage us to the close of your transaction, you can expect clear communication from our team. Whether you’re a buyer or a seller, we will send you a detailed email outlining every step of the process so you know what to expect at every turn.

Not to mention, if you work with us, an attorney will be actively involved in every step of the process. The bait-and-switch isn’t our thing: you will have direct access to us throughout the whole transaction and we will guarantee a response.

Home Inspectors

Whether you are buying new construction or a resale home an inspection is an extremely important part of the process.  Having a trusted inspector who knows what to look for can save you a lot of heartache and money down the road.  A home is a living, breathing thing and will always have items that need repair, but being able to financially plan and know what is to come is vital for peace of mind when choosing the perfect home for you and your family.

Mark strikes a rare balance between producing an insightful and unflinching critique of a home with a sense of compassion rooted in the knowledge that emotions and anxiety run high during the home buying process. A graduate of NC State, Mark Stovall brings multiple industry experience to the inspection. From manufacturing millwork, and driving framing nails – along with a seven-year stint as a project manager building homes and commercial projects – he’s been in the trenches – literally. Yet, Mark still retains the soft skills and professionalism he learned working in the offices of major corporations like Duke Progress (then CP&L), Pharmaceutical Products Development, and Triumph Consultancy Services. Over the years Mark has partnered with professional and reliable subcontractors that flesh out the primary home inspection with details on termite infestation, the presence of Radon, the health of well and septic systems, and all other aspects of your home.
